!!Getting Ready!!

Well, we finally went to the Dr. and had our gender u/s done.  We found out we are having a little boy!  (James Logan)  We are super excited.  My hubby was so ecstatic when he found out it was a little boy..I have never seen his face light up like that before.  It was the greatest thing.  All through my pregnancy he has been saying we were having a little boy, and ever since about 10 weeks I have had this gut feeling it was a boy.  Well, I guess we were right.  I have been folding and putting up baby clothes, and buying things here and there.  I have some diapers, wipes, bottles, a bed, a bassinet, a carrier/carseat, some clothes, and some blankets.  We are going to start putting the baby room together when my hubby gets in.  He will only be here 9 days this time and he leaves the day after Christmas.  I don't want to wait till almost the end of January to start doing everything because my baby shower is going to be Feb. 9 which is the day before my 20th b-day....and I'll need somewhere to put everything.  Also I went today and started my baby registery.  It's crazy how at times it feels like all of this is getting so close and it won't be no time before we get to hold our little one and bring him home with us, but then again sometimes it feels like it is still so far away.  My hubby works on an oil rig and he does 2 weeks gone and 2 weeks home and once he comes home this time he'll go back out 3 times and then the baby will be here.  That is so unbelievable.  I am so ready to meet my little Logan....and so is his daddy!!  So, I can honestly say I have officially started getting ready for my little one to arrive.

Dec. 4, 2007 at 2:01 AM Congrats! Thats so exciting. I just had my son on July 27 and it is so much fun getting ready for them and after you have them. My son is a little miracle and he amazes me every day. I'm so happy for you. Congrats and have fun with the decorating.
