He's really cute and sweet.  He gives big, open-mouth, slobbery kisses.  He claps, laughs and smiles.  He melts my very jaded heart.  He cuddles and rubs my arm and pats me saying, "Mamamamamamamam".

Then he screams at the top of his lungs.  He hits and claws at my face.  He throws his bottle and rages on and on.  Nothing can stop him once he starts.  He is "Saint Anger".  Touching him incites more fury.  Consoling him is impossible at this point.

Will it always be like this?  Why is he so angry?  Is there something I could do?  Is there something I shouldn't do?  How long can this go on?

He has slept through the night 5 nights in a row now.  It hasn't improved his attitude during the day much.  However, I've always heard that a baby that's "high maintenance will turn into a pretty happy child at some point.  I'll let you all know in 5 years!

Dec. 7, 2007 at 11:36 AM Wow - I don't know how you do it.  My kids, I have to say, were not like that.  How old is he?  Have you talked to his doctor to see if something can be done?  Does he have any health issues or just a fussy guy?

Fussy and headstrong.  He's taking meds at night to help him stay asleep and that will end in 2 days.  I think he's just pissy like his dad!LOL
