Yay! I got accepted to grad school! This is going to be soooo challenging. I thought it was going to be hard without a kid, but now that I have a baby it is going to be super difficult. It sucks because the classes I need to take are during the day. I wish I had reliable friends or family around town that could babysit a couple hours a day. I miss Monterey!

Other than that, I am still working part time and making hardly any money. Christmas is coming up, and I think I will be painting pictures for everyone this year. But, it will be great because there is a new addition to the family, and he is the first kid in the family for over 10 years! He is the first grandchild, the first great grandchild, and the first great great grandchild in our family. Talk about spoiled! Yikes, I don't know where we will be able to fit all of the toys we get.

Dec. 7, 2007 at 7:41 PM i'm kindof having the same babysitting problem.  my soon-to-be-husband's mom watches my son right now while i go to school, but i don't know if she's going to be able to do all the days next quarter.  what are the times you will have class? we might be able to work something out if we have opposite schedules!  where in sac do you live?

Dec. 8, 2007 at 11:49 AM I'll watch him!!  I'm kinda out of the way...  But i have to drive down that way to drop Al off and pick him up from work at the executive airport.  If your schedule matches, I could pick him up from the school.  I have a big ol' van...he'd fit perfectly.  And Echo would have someone to play with.  :)

Dec. 15, 2007 at 8:30 PM That is super exciting!  I am seriously walking distance from Sac State.  I envy you for being able to go to school.  I have to work and what makes it worse is that after tax, medical insurance and daycare I barely get a paycheck.  But that's life right...gotta just be grateful for what we have.  Your little man is so effing perfect.
