Whos fault is it anyways.....

      This morning has been a very calming, chilly morning here in Hawaii. The sun is trying to peek out through the clouds, rain is falling and birds are singing. Kids are all at school, laundry is going and house is cleaned. Today is the office area to get deep cleaned and I'm avoiding it at all cost.

       I am reading about lies we believe as women. It hit on the subject of lies we believe about sin.. My sin isn't as bad as the murder, its my parents fault, i can sin and get away with it. How many times have I played the avoidance card when it comes to sin. Instead of coming to christ and asking for forgivness I start going through the cycle. and in the long run ending up depressed, overwhelmed with guilt, shame and in a hole I am digging deeper and deeper. Where as if I just acknowledged it was a sin to begin with I could have avoided all the pain and suffering.

      God wants us to live in freedom, he wants us to live in peace, he wants us to live guilt free. We make the choices to do things that will cause problems, we make the choices that cause pain then we are quick to come back with where was God. When our kids make choices that are bad do we just protect them from the consequences or do we make them ride the storm so that they may learn from it. God is my heavenly father who will be there to pick me up and care for me, but just like us with our children he will make me ride the storm. And become stronger from the storm.

    I know many won't understand, or will not like what is said.. but sin is sin no matter how big or small its sin. Unless you ask christ to come into your heart, cleanse you from sin, unless you believe that christ came to die for our sins... Good works, being a good person will not do a thing for you when it comes to eternety. Lies are around us all day every day, its our job to soak in the truth and throw away the lies.
