I have been feeling very stressed about my life and all the things that I want to accomplish. I look around and see others who are living their dreams and who have the things that I want to have, or feel that I should be able to have by now, and it frustrates me. I think we all feel the pressure, especially us moms, to have and do it all. Be a great mom, a success in our careers, the perfect wife and homemaker, etc, etc.... It's so frustrating when I see others who seem to pull it off so easily when I can barely manage to get the absolute neccessities accomplished from day-to-day.  I was getting to the point that it was becoming completely overwhelming. But then, I started to become more aware of the ones who have less than I have. The moms who don't have healthy children, the families who can't afford the basic neccessities of life, people who suffer real tragedy. What a wake up call and total shift in my attitude. I realize now, and make it a point to be aware of, what I do have and am accomplishing every day. It has made all the difference. I still focus on reaching my goals and changing my life for the better but, I'm keeping in mind all that I already do have and remembering to be grateful for them. :)

Good for you!  Our life on Earth is short, and we need to make the best of it.  I, too, have been struggling with the same things you have been, but I have been counting my blessings.  It does make a big difference when you have a positive attitude.

Merry Christmas!
