Doing good after surgery...kinda

SO hailey had her surgery friday (16th) and it was a LONG night at the hospital. she didnt sleep so that means i didnt sleep. :( i was so glad to come home on saturday. but now she will not sleep in her crib. i think that surgeries do tramatize babies even tho they dont remeber when they are older. I lay in her in crib and she starts screaming and shaking like shes scared to death of it. i mean she isnt even sleeping like she noramally did. 8-8 was her schedule. with one nap at noon. Now Im lucky if she wont get up every 2 hrs through the night, its been very hard without having mych sleep.

On a good note though Hailey is doing GREAT! her stitches come out wednsday so im excited! and hopefully we can find out more about her next surgery coming up within the next few months to fix her palete!

Feb. 25, 2007 at 10:53 PM She probably does remember to an extent... When my son had surgery he did the same thing..... It's soo sad!!! I'm glad to hear she's doing well.... And I love her middle name. My daughter's name is Ella Rae.Soon you will get more sleep!!!
