How can men be such worthless parents?

I swear I hate my ex.  We have joint custody of our oldest 2 kids and he just got them back yesterday.  Well, today, a half hour AFTER school was out he called me up to see if I could get them a ride home from school because he was nowhere near there and couldn't do it.  Mind you, they are in first and second grade.  I asked where they would be, and he said oh they are either outside the school or walking back to his place, but the door is locked and they wouldn't be able to get in.  Well, my husband had the car and I called my sis to see if she could go get them and she flew out the door as soon as I told her what was going on.  She found them halfway down the street, the principal was walking them home.  It makes me sick, his negligence.  He hadn't even called the school to let them know what was going on, he has a cell phone, he waits for a half hour after school ends to call someone about it.  My sis has a kid who she picks up from there every day so he could have called her, or my mom lives literally one block away from the school he could have called her.  It makes me so mad that I don't have money to take him to court for full custody.  I called and talked to the principal, and he said this is the fourth time just this year that it has happened, and that if it becomes more of a problem then he is going to call children services.  It sounds mean, but I really hope he does.  I don't know why God let him be fertile(hes about to have a fourth kid-he needs to quit while he's ahead, he isn't with the mother of any of his kids)  I personally think he is a boon on society and that he would be doing the world a favor if he would just stop breathing.  Hes wasting the air somebody worthy could be using...
