HI All...so we went to AZ this weekdn for the bach/ bridal shower weekend of which I am the maid of honor and planned the whole thing....first of all Thursday, the day we left Joey cried for 4 hours in the car of the 5.5 hour drive...NOT FUN!

We get to my in-laws and Joely will not sleep in her travel crib...so she sleeps in bed with me..she is a bed hog for sure! So I didnt get much sleep at all...the next day we are off to my friends house and unloaed everything, I got a fabulous massage and mud wrap and then I went to go see my little one hanging out with my mom...she just wasn't herself but I figured the drive and no sleep she was just a mess from that. By night fall, when I put her down in her travel crib she went right away (strange) so I kept an eye on her. After about 2 hours of me staring at her I felt her head..and sure enough boiling! She had a 103 fever! I stripped her out of her clothes and gave her a luke warm bath and called the pedi and she told me to give her tylenol and motrin to bring it down...so I did and it came down fast. Joely slept with me on my chest again because she started to have a nasty runny nose....so night number 2 was just about aweful for both of us!

The next day was the shower but being up all night I just could not go and Joely needed her mommy..Grandma was there but she needed to nurse every couple hours to stay hydrated so that would not work so good. I told my friend I was not going to go to the shower or the bach party...she was ok with the shower but I could tell she was bent about the bach party..I told her if I left Joely i would feel like a irrisponsible parent...I she is upset  for sure now because she has not emailed or called me to see how Joely is doing...she had plenty of time to upload all her pictures and send them to me but not a word otherwise...hmmmm...anyways I packed up all my stuff adn left her house and went back to my inlaws....JOelys nose is a complete and utter mess running like a faucet but the fever had gone down by then. Our last night in AZ Joely slept in bed with me again and took up the whole thing again!!! But she needed the sleep so I let her. I again was up all night..

The trip home was better, she slept more and caught up on some rest and last night she slept in bed with me again on my chest so she could sleep without gasping for air..poor baby girl!

I realize she is sick because a mom brought her kid to a birthday party that was sneezing alot and my friend looked at her and the mom kind of looked at her like "oops sorry my kid is sneezing everywhere" What the F!! Come on people..if your kid is sick LEAVE THEM AT HOME! If a household family member is sick...do not bring your kid around other kids!!! THey will contaminate the whole lot of them. All three of our kids came down with the same thing all on the same day a few days after that party coincidence I think not!

Anyways...the weekend sucked for Joely and for me but now we are recovering...and I am so thankful it did not get worse!
