Well, I guess I should be pretty proud of myself because she made it. My daughter well be turning 18 on Friday. I feel both proud and sad all at the same time. I love her so much and I am so very proud of her. She really is a good girl and I think she well do well in life. I may not approve of all of her dissions but for the most part she is pretty smart. On the other hand I am sad because she is like my best friend and baby girl all in one and it makes me sad that she isn't at home as much as she used to be and now that she is 18 we well be spending less and less time together and themn someday she well have her own family and although I have 4 other children it well still be somewhat lone;ly to have her gone. We have always been very close. I hope and pray that she well have a wonderful furture, and most of all I want her to be happy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARRIE!!!

Happy Birthday to your daughter!!!

I hated for my kids to get older. I love the fun we had when they were little.

However, even though it hurts now to think about her "moving on", stop and think about the fun you two can have as adult friends.

My daughters are now 29 and 23 years old and yet we have fun together.

We go shopping, to dinner, passion parties(shhh), and a lot of other things.

Yes, there are days when we get mad at each other and don't talk for a few days, but we know that we can and will be, there for each other when needed.

Let your daughter know that not only will you be there when she needs you, but that you want to "just chat" and "hang out" together sometime.

Remind her that, yes, you are her mother, but you're a women/girl just like she is and that you want to be friends too.

Have a great day and a good future with your " baby"!!!

They will always be your babies!!!
