No way did any of these nick names stick but Alex (who is almost six) was GOOBER. I don't know why but it stuck for a few months! Luckily, it passed LOL!
Zack was Zacky...I never wanted my kids to end in an "ie" sound. Long story short but everyone in my family was Angie, Jenni, Donny, Missie, Kenny, Jimmy, Timmy. LOL! All my cousins were "ie" names. And somehow he got Zacky for a while. But that too passed.
Now Gabe was Bubba, because of his size! LOL! I absolutely hate BUBBA but yet sometimes I still say it! UGH! My niece always refers to Gabe as Bubba and we have been working on that! LOL!
Comments:
Nicholas = nanner goat & pickell
Jacob = bobble head or bobble
Caleb = bulga whalie or bulga he also is well know as baby.
But I have been very strict on not shortening their names. No Nick or Jake here.
My oldest was "tough guy" penned by his dad cuz he had a rough start, he was in the NICU for 3 weeks because of meconium aspirations at birth. After a year that faded.
My middle guy was "bubba" too! He was 9 lbs 1 oz and my husband says he had 4 butt cheeks, 4 knees, and 3 chins when he was born! LOL
My daughter was and still is "Princess and Munchkin"
Now the boys my Dh call them "cletuses" who knows where he came up with that! Or Beavis and Butthead when they are being weirdos!!!!
