OK, earlier tonight my 9 year-old daughter asked my husband for some kind of fairy something-or-another for herself.

My husband replied "You'll have to ask the fat man."

DD without batting an eyelash replied ...

"I know Dad.  That's why I came to you."

  

Of course, DH meant Santa Claus ... but DD zinged it to him!
