Somtimes watching them grow makes me sad cause it is going soooo fast, but then I love every new stage and every moment of being a mother. I truly feel blessed.
This morning all three boys slept in! WOO HOO! I don't know why they can't do that on a Saturday! LOL!
But Gabe gets up and I get done changing him and he is still laying on the couch and says to me "I hungree mommee" I said you are? he said "Yes" I said you want some breakfast and he says "yes brakfas" So cute he is carrying on a converstaion with me. He is really stringing words together! He can almost count to ten (he skips a couple numbers! LOL!) and yesterday he got a color right. He got that bannannas were yellow (on the first try) so he knows one color! LOL!
I just can't believe that Gabe will be two in March! WOW! how did that happend. Time went by so fast.
Then the other are flourishing as well. Zack loves Pre K. He wants to go everday just like Alex! Zack's behavior is getting a bit better (just a bit! LOL!) But DH and I are sticking to our guns and be very strict about his aggression and how he handles himself. He realizes what he has done after the act, which is good but we need him to think about it BEFORE!
We also put Zack in private swim lessons. During his regular class he is begginning to scream (for over a month now) and is just getting worse. I think he developed a fear of the water or that the instructor is going to let him sink (His words) so the private lessons he does so good. I think also that Zack does not mix well w his teacher for his class but he really likes the private teacher. Last night he acutally swim and did not know it! LOL! He did super, but now of course all the swim lessons are done till mid of Jan so I fell like we will be back to square one. I did enroll him in the regular lessons and I will be doing a few more weeks of private ones too at that time.
Now Alex has grown up so much since he started school. He has become more resposnible, he can really read now (though he was reading a bit before school started). He is having a blast in Kindergarten and looks foward to going everyday! He is also meeting friends and learning on his own which kids can cause trouble! LOL! So I am very proud of his judge in character as well.
Well I am sorry about the ramble I was just sitting here this morming thinking how fast the month of December is going by (yep 12 days to the big day!) and how fast time has gone as we approach Alex's sixth birthday coming up here in January! WOW! the boys have grown up so much and have taught so much to DH and I too!
Thanks for reading,
Jenni
