viruses really stink

Not only are viruses a pain to deal with but they really make kids stinky with illness sweat. dd1 was feeling better today with no fever so I took her to speech and to chuck e cheese to get rid of her energy. Then we save our tickets and we go next door to the dollar tree for a treat. We are saving out tickets for one of the really big prizes, like a my little pony toy. My girlfriends all bailed on me tonight for our weekly girls night out. I went out anyway. I left dh who couldn't talk with his virus at home with one recovering kid and dd2 just coming down with the virus dd1 had. It was almost dd2's bedtime and dd1 goes to bed an hour after that.

dd2 is much more talkative today. I think it's because she doesn't feel good. I think she said ball and kitty and a few more words I can't remember at the moment. She was still asking for baby signing time. I'm so glad that if watching tv is her thing she at least wants to watch good educational shows. dd1 was standing in front of the tv and dd2 pushed her out of the way. It's so funny that she pushes and pulls on big sister when she wants something but also pats her on the back when she's not feeling good and blows her kisses and wants dd1 to feed her.
