When are you getting married?

When are you getting married? Who hasn't heard that question before?  When my family found out thats all i seemed to hear. Of course I haven't heard it lately but that was the first thing that seemed to come to everyone's mind. Like it's manditory to be married before the baby gets here. If i'm to "young" to have a child why am I not too young to get married.  

Then not only that but my cousin decided to get married and she's  only a year older than me. But when she told the family that she was getting married that asked why so young. But I needed to get married how ridiculous.

Dec. 15, 2007 at 3:38 PM I went through this sam thing. I was already engaged to my now hubby when I found out I was prego with my first. All of a sudden everyone thought I HAD to get married right away. We already had a date picked out but I would've been 8 mos. pregnant and didn't want to get married with a big tummy. My mom tried getting me to go to the court house and then have a "real" wedding later. DH's dad tried getting us to push up the wedding date numerous times. About the 4th time I told him he could pay for it if he wanted it sooner he shut up. DH's uncle was pressuring us too! He said that if we would just go get married at the court house he would pay for us  a weekend at the coast. I don't know if you've ever been to the Oregon coast. It's got some stuff to do, but it's not that exciting the 10th time you do it LOL Just stand your ground and do what you feel is best. We waited 10 mos. after the baby was born to have our wedding and it was great! Not to mention I lost a ton of weight after I had her so I didn't have to work out before the wedding!
