Our first snow of the year!

Well like many places in the country we got slammed with snow. I love a big snow fall! Everything looks so pretty! I also love the excuse that we are snowed in for a few days too! LOL! I am even hoping school is closed tommorrow so I don't have to go anywhere. By Tuesday though I will be DONE with it! LOL! So we got about a foot of snow here in SE Michigan!

My boys could not wait to go out in it. They started asking first thing this morning! LOL! So this afternoon we got out and played. It was Gabe's first time playing in the snow! He loved to EAT It! It was adorable. He just carried around this huge snow chunck and ate it. Alex and Zack were into building a fort with daddy! They did a good job! Daddy took some of the big snow mounds and shoveled a path between for the fort! So they had a blast and did not come in until after dark!

Tommorrow we are hoping to do some sledding for the first time!

I also love a big snowfall when we don't have to go anywhere at all.  I have three girls and live in N.W. Ohio.  The younger two, 4 & 7 got bundled up andwent outside and had some fun while my husband shoveled.  My oldest daughter, 11,  pretty much played on the computer all day.  I love the idea of having time stop for a while to just stay home and not feel stressed about going anywhere.  Later in the afternoon, I luckily had bought some pillsbury sugar cookie dough, already rolled out and everything, so we made cut out cookies.  Fun!!!  My youngest daughter likes the spread the frost around with her fingers method.  Cheers.

Gee.. looks like we have more snow on the ground.. I will have to get some pics up.. I am litterly running out of room to put the snow, but we had a ton on the ground already before this big snowfall.. My boys had a great time.. Shelby is just too small so far to enjoy it.. So she is usually at the door watching us:)
