We live in a 2bdrom apartment at the moment.  When my son was about 8-9months old we had him in one of our rooms.  He would scream and scream everytime we put him to sleep in there even to take naps.  So he stayed down stairs where my parents live.  Well now one of the bdrms is my daughters room and that same room is my sons room.  We stay on a futon in our living room.  Well two nights in a row my son has come out of his room and said "scare me scare me" and asked for the light on.  So we figured it was just that he was maybe scared of the dark.  Well tonight while my fiance was at work he comes to me and says "scare me scare me light on light on mom".  So I went in his room and turned the light on.  Then he comes back out and says " John, John, John play games, John play games".  Now I am a little freaked out at the moment.   We have never used the name John around him that I can think of.  What do you think.

Dec. 18, 2007 at 7:06 PM Spooky!  I wouldn't doubt he sees something.  They say small children are more open to the paranormal...it could really be true!  Creepy.  I think I'd believe him, but then what do you do about a place for him to sleep?  Not any help, but I found it interesting.

Dec. 18, 2007 at 7:28 PM I'm having the same problem. Now my 4yr old sleeps with me. We moved up here in february, rented an old house (I think it was built inthe 50's) but anyway- Jaden loved her blue room (since blue is her favorite color...that's what it's painted) anyway, the first few nights, she'd sleep in there, but would end up in my bed at some point in the night. I just figured it was a new place, so whatever. I continued to put her in her room at night until a few weeks it started to become a problem. Now she won't even go in the room. She swears up and down there is an old woman that was at the foot of her bed and made her cold. She described her perfectly, and in a nightgown- a woman that my husband and I cannot even think we have ever seen.      Anyway, we've noticed that other things were a bit odd in the house too- lights would turn on and off. (yes we had the electric wire checked)  the light switches would actually move up and down when this happened- so it definately wasn't the wiring.  At one point when our electric bill went up to 500 a month, we had a new meter placed and had someone come out to the house because  we unplugged EVERYTHING in the house, went outside and that stupid little spinner thing on the meter was just going around and around as fast as it could.       No one can explain it. Personally- I think the place is haunted, and kids can see things that we can't.   sorry that is probably of no help to you, but your definately not alone! (and I don't mean in the house! I ment that I'm dealing with the same thing!)
