This year I'm going to be celebrating with friends and family-even though apparently I need a specific date associated with religious/political undertones to do it. At work I get to listen to Frosty the snowman, followed by some song about "jesus our lord" which is ironic because I'm sure they both have the same amount of truth to them. The malls are filled with the hustle and bustle of people who are going into to debt and making big businesses even bigger (by the way, walmart sucks-but thats a different post) spending their money on material things to show their loved ones just how much they love them. Never-the-less december 25th my children will be spoiled with gifts and I will most likely eat too much. Of course December 26th will roll around and we will have the wrapping paper, bows and boxes to dispose of. We'll all have gained a few pounds off of sugary, salty carbs, not to mention the debt we all have brought upon ourselves. This all started because Jesus Christ was apparently born on December 25th about 2000 years ago-yeah right and we walked on the moon........Happy Holidays!
