Bedrest = BOREDOM

Merry Christmas to all!! Just a little update in the saga that is my pregnancy with baby Madison.. I went to the high risk doctor again today.. They rechecked her growth because at the last appt she had fallen behind about 20 days and that is a big deal in the fetal world. 3 weeks ago she should have been weighing around almost 2 lbs but was tiny 1.10 lbs.. So at this appt she was 2.12 lbs! She gained a whole pound and has caught up a little! She is still behind but not as much! It was great news.. However, I did start to have some preterm labor on Sunday and was in labor and delivery for a few hours.. I am now on bedrest and they told me to stay on it until she is ready to come out.. So far, its a really very horrible boring thing.. How is possible to have like a thousand channels and still have nothing on??? I just dont get that!!

Well Christmas is just days away and I had completed my shopping for Andrew and some family prior to my bedrest orders. I just have to buy something for my husband and something for my mom. I am sending her to get his gifts on Saturday and him to get hers.. I also have to get a gift for my virtual shower partner sometime soon but that is easier because I can order is straight from the web and have them deliver it.. Andrew had his 9th birthday just about 2 weeks ago.. I can't believe how big he is!! I think he enjoyed it and liked his gifts.. He did not hear from his bio dad or that side of his family at all on his birthday. Its not surprising though.. He never has gotten a gift or card from them in his 9 years, why start now! I also have not gotten a single child support payment since I got his bail money. I am not shocked by this either seeing as I wasn't getting them before he went to jail.. You would think it would make more sense to just pay it than to go through the hassle of being arrested and paying a huge lump to get out but whatever.. That's backwoods for ya.. I am sure that Andrew will not be hearing from them for Christmas either.. I don't think is really phases him right now but later on down the road he might just catch on..

U know that Andrew is better off without that side of the family, it is bad enough that he has Robert's genes in him. I hope that he does not grow up to be just like Robert either. I know that he does not see him; however, genes are pretty bad sometimes. I hope that you will not be to bored. Just do as you are told to do for a change. I know that my niece will be just fine, she is just letting you know now that she will come out being the boss and calling the shots.
