I want to thank all of you for the condolenses you have sent me! I didnt really know my dad, he was never really a part of my life and we didnt have a relationship to speak of....but its still sad that he died, and at this time of year makes it no better. I was contacted by an Aunt that I have never met last night to give me the news....she was so upset, there were 8 siblings total and 2 have been lost in the last year :(

SO, we have been packing and are leaving this morning to head down to Georgia, his funneral is on saturday morning.....its been crazy getting ready and traffic is going to be tough im sure so wish us luck on our travels....from Georgia we are going to my inlaws in Kentucky for Christmas.

I hope to hear all about your wonderful holidays when I get back to town!

I'm sorry to hear about your father. And, yes, it's still sad, even though you didn't know him well. He's still your dad afterall.

Dec. 21, 2007 at 11:36 AM  I have been out of town and didnt know you lost your dad, Its sad you didnt get to know him. I didnt know my bio. father well either and when he passed it was just that I was sad for the dad that never learned the important things in life. He was a good "life lesson".
