No help for the HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!

I swear I wish it was January 10th!!!!!  I just baked 15 dozen cookies......5 trays of brownies..... and 2 Cheesecakes!!!!  I am having 32 people to my house on Monday and no one is helping with the cooking!!!!  What is worse is that 12 of the 32 people were invited by my mother (boyfriends family), and she is called to tell me that she (they) will not be here until 6:00pm on Christmas Eve so I shouldn't start cooking too early!!!!!  We do the whole 7 fishes dinner.... Guess who is paying for all the fish?!?!?!?!  Does anyone see something wrong with this picture?????

Yes I feel your pain.....My Mother-in-Law (sorry don't know what the correct abbreviation is) wants us at her house "EARLY" on christmas moring so we can all have breakfast together. Oh and we have to be in our PJ's.

I have two little ones 2 1/2 and 10 months. She has in the past (while I was pregnant and living in NJ - she lives in NY) called at 8:00AM to find out why we hadn't left our house yet.

Meanwhile my sister was suppose to be hosting Christmas in her house but her renovations are not complete so my whole family will be in my house when I get back at about 5:30 on Tuesday evening.

I really hope santa is good to both of us....

Dec. 22, 2007 at 12:03 AM Yep! I would ask, did I give you permission to invite 12 additional people? Are you going to help provide the food? Oh well, christmas is suppose to be about giving. Consider this your holiday gift to the season. I know, easier said or typed rather, than done. I am having trouble having any christmas cheer at all. Just enjoy your day. Fix as much as possible ahead of time on Sunday, or Sat. even, and try to enjoy the day with family and friends. Here's to a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  I feel for you.  I don't understand what the fish game is?  But, I think I figured it out.  That's to bad that know one helped you out.  That's not right.  I was raised that it was only proper to help the host.  I need to meet someone to talk to on a not so bothersome time.  I am bed ridden until Jan 10 or a  longer.
