Well Ladies, what a week it has been... On wednesday ( December 19th) I was rushed to the hospital-Not Breathing.. Here's what happened...Tuesday morning I woke up not feeling well, assuming it was stress, allergies, exhaustion,etc..I ignored it and kept going on with my day.. Got worse as the day proceeded. Wednesday morning woke up feeling awful..head hurt, chest hurt like "you know what", sinus hurt, My mild asthma was acting up also, causing me to start using my inhaler I have for emergencies. I dropped my son off with my mom so I could finish up some shopping and went to the mall.. I couldnt understand by this time I was literally fatigued, hurting all over and my breathing was hard to do.. I kept drinking coffee to help alleviate my lungs and open them up...hoping for some energy at the same time.. My breathing was labored, so I kept using my inhaler just to catch a breath.. As the day wore on, my symptoms got worse.. I went to another store and was looking through some racks when a lightheaded feeling caused me to stumble backwards, which scared a saleslady to death.. At that point I decided i needed to go home to get some rest before getting my son.. I got home and immedialtely started feeling like I couldnt breathe.. I thought i was having an Asthma attack( which has rarely happened in 7 yrs).. My chest began to hurt really bad and tighten, closing my airways.. I quickly called my mom, who then called my sister( who was closer to me in distance) ,..my sister was going to bring me a asthma breathing machine.. after I got off the phone I went to unlock the door and go lay down till my sister got there to help.. I got back to my room and felt very dizzy, so I sat down on the floor by the bed.. That is the last thing I remember personally...The next part is told to me by my sister, mom and husband...they told me that when my sister walked in I was almost completely passed out and not breathing much..she tried to give me a treatment but within 10 mins I was convulsing and turning blue..my husband walked in from being called and was told to call 911 right away... within 3 mins the EMT was there, assesed me quickly and took me to nearest hospital.. Where I was diagnosed with Severe Bronchitis,, severe asthma attack and another infection in my chest .. The bronchitis was causing my lungs to be inflammed and shut own and my asthma was closing them up, which caused me to start suffocating... The infection with the bronchitis was the chest pain I was getting..which also caused my asthma to flare up tremendously. They docs told my husband that if I had laid down to rest I would have died from my lungs completely closing down.. I was in the hospital the next day( thursday) when I had distress in my breathing again and through some tests found out my right lung was trying to collapse from all of the inflammation and stress... Which now was causing my heart to beat extremely fast when My bronchoitis would flare up... So.. I was put on multiple meds for blood pressure to keep my heart regulated, Steriods to help aginst the bronchitis, antibiotic for the other chest infection, asthma meds,etc.. I came home Friday evening.. with instuctions to only rest and do nothing till at least the 29th.. take it easy, etc etc.. I still get exhausted just taking a shower or getting up to walk to the living room.. I am little by little getting better, but its a process... I am just happy I am home for Christmas and I have a wonderful Family who have taken care of me..and saved my life.. Another Great reason to celebrate The holidays and being with Family.. But to add to my holiday start I receive some sad nes that a very close friend of mine who is just like a brother was diagnosed with Cancer on Friday evening( not sure exactly what type till monday afternoon) and On wednesday morning another friend who was 30 weeks Pregnant went into labor and had a gorgeous preemie baby boy( 2 pounds 13 ounces)..so its been a long week..Just thought I would let everyone know what has happened these last few days.. Hope everyone has a good Christmas.....
