Dysfunctional Family

What is the deal with a family that is so dysfunctional???? that they have to start a load of B.S. and all over a phone call!!!! My step-dad is dyying ( my mom divorced him years ago, but to me he is still a step-dad) from cancer, and my mom had several children of which I know of 7, and 5 of us have stayed in contact over these years. My step-dad called me last night, and told me he located one of my other siblings, and I was excited, so I contacted my "supposed" "friend"  (my aunt) and told her about it, now my mother called me later last night and "Chewed my a*@ out". All because I was excited, and now I can care less who calls me and who don't. I got a call blocker added on my phone today so in case it all fires up, and I don't wanna hear it all. . .maybe one day I will unblock those numbers so they can call me, till then. . .It's Not My Problem!!!!!!!!!!!!
