We had to change doctors because of insurance and I took Mikey in for his annual visit.  The doctor was going through the regular routine and discussing things with me.  He started asking me about Mikey's speech.  I said he talks... not well but he does talk.  We turn and look at Mikey and he is sitting there drooling from the mouth crossing his eyes and grunting.  He continues asking questions about Mikey's speech and Mikey continues with his charade now making odd hand gestures to go along with his drooling and grunts.  The doctor looks at me in complete seriousness and asks, "Is this how he talks?"  I was mortified.
