PIC ADDED---MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT- OMGosh! I AM STILL IN SHOCK!!!

Okay so a lot of you know I would like to have my own photography business one day. I already do graphics to some extent but I want to go deeper into that and also do photography. 

I have the best family ever. I've always known that. But this Christmas was the best ever. They totally shocked me. I still cannot believe what I got. Hubby and my parents went in and got me a camera kit. It has so much:

• 10.1MP Canon Rebel XTI w/lens kit (18-55mm) and strap
• 3- optical glass filters
• 1- 75-300mm zoom lens
• 1- 50mm lens
• 1- 5x high speed super wide angle lens with macro
• 2GB flash card
• Compact flash card reader/writer
• Lens cap holder
• External flash
• Mini tripod
• Standard tripod
• 2- additional batteries w/storage covers
• Rapid car charger
• Regular charger

After I opened everything my dad said, "If this isn't making you money in three months, it's your mom's!" I was cracking up. Wish me luck!

Too fun!  My husband and I love photography too! 

One trick my parents taught me for lighting - Instead of getting those expensive silver and gold umbrella's for bounce lighting , spray-paint the insides of some light colored ones instead (the parasols from Oriental trading company work perfect!) 

Congratulations, that is a very nice kit (especially with all those lenses!)
