JCP post # 3 the reactions.

As you know, I was selected as one of 100 lucky Cafemom members to receive a 100.00 JCP gift card.

I never know if a gift is well recieved by the reactions of my family members. We are all good at hiding our true emotions while opening gifts. With my in-laws tastes, we have had to become great actors to avoid hurt feelings. I measure the appreciation of a gift the days after, To see if it comes out of the box, Or remains under the tree.

My hubby's robe was out of the box and on him within minutes. The following day he took his shower and for the first time in a long while, he came down stairs not fully dressed, but sporting his robe. In fact he didn't want to take it off. I would say he is very happy.

I knew my daughter would love the boots. I was right, She screamed when she opened them.  She has worn them for 3 days straight. The sweater that I chose she wore 2 days in a row. I have it in my possesion so I can clean it. This makes me really happy. For, her taste in fashion is ever changing. She loves it and it is beautiful on her.

As for my son. I bought the telescope as an extra present. Right before Christmas he added a telescope on his wish list. I wondered if he had seen my hiding spot. Or did I just get really lucky knowing him so well.  Santa came through with a little help from JCP. It is set up, just waiting for the next clear night.

As for the Thomas shirt. I have not heard. I am sure my friend's little boy loved it.  

Thank you JCP and Cafemom for making some Christmas wishes come true. It was a mystical Christmas this year. Here is my proof... My son said "I got everything on my wish list except for a white Christmas."  Not more than a few minutes later it started snowing. Within 30 min it covered the ground. Our first white Christmas in 20 years.

 So... Do you believe in magic ?????
