A new Creation

Living my daily suicide

Deceiving myself

Into forced deliusions

 

Concocting new lies

To numb the momentum

Of my slow, worthless death

 

Spiraling downward

Out of control

Into hopeless nothingness

 

Floundering helplessly

Dark, alone

Lifeless

 

Saturated in rage

Betrayed in pain

Lost, friendless

 

Sad, remorseful

Mournfully repenting

Exposed, receptive

 

My complete surrender

Found in God

Hungering for his word

 

Alive at last!

Dancing in jubilation

Freed from death

 

Thankful, my first joy

Relief, satisfaction

Full of life and love

 

Sanctuary, solace

Living in His love

Comforted in his protection

 

God be glorified in me!
