OK I like my 4 wheeler now

My DH has been trying to get me to go 4 wheeling with him for some years now , but I never wanted to because he likes to race and his 4 wheelers all go to fast and are very rough to ride. He bought a old 500 Polaris 4 wheel drive auto and rebuilt it for me . it has had some problems and after about 7 months he got it running well . So we took our family ride today and wow... I had so much fun! my son and DH said I was to slow but I had to look...come on now LOL!  not much to look at this time of the year :< (   Anyway !  The trails was old washed out logging roads and horse trails, most was ok to ride on but we took a horse trail that was straight up and down. I wanted to turn and go back but only one way in and one out ( down hill ) I wanted to Kill him..errr I am afraid of heights and he knew that ! he kept saying if you wanted the good shots you need to do this....What good shots!?! I went anyway. Branden did so good with his tiny 4 wheeler and was always looking out for mommy to make sure she was ok.  At the end my son was runnig out of gas so we went back and rode around the lot , My DH always has to ride fast and do some kind of tricks, so I was waching him and my son and taking some pictures ( I need to learn how to take action shots ) But DH did a slide on my 4 wheeler and it died .... He rolled off and all I could do is stand and laugh at him ....HE HE HE ! It was so funny to see a fat man roll ( I can say that Not you) Hah haha! He was ok. I'm so mean! I really had a good time and look forward in going again , but I want the good shots he said I would find next time. I am posting some pictures but the are not that good ( I can't take action shots in manual )

Dec. 29, 2007 at 10:05 PM I love the 2nd and third ones!!!!!!! They are awesome!!!!! Most people try to get that and have to edit it in, and you got it without edits! I don't have a 4whlr but DH does, it is a blast!!! We haven't went since I was pregnant, but who wants to take 2 yr old twins camping.....LOL I said, "NOT WITHOUT A CAMPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" LOL I am talking a pull type that has air and battery electricity......not the pop up or tent. He laughs. We have to drive 2 1/2 hrs to ride so, we just camp, but not until the boys get older. The pics are great!

Dec. 29, 2007 at 10:43 PM You did the panning correctly and yes, they are supposed to look like that.  Most people don't know how to do it, and do edit to make it blurry.  Basically you have to have a slightly slower shutter speed, have a point of focus, and once they hit that spot, take the picture but as you're taking it....continue moving the camera to follow the moving subject.  This keeps your subject in focus but blurs everything else.  You may not have done this on purpose but you made it look it! =)

Jan. 1, 2008 at 10:14 PM Awsome!  My husband bought me a 4-wheeler for mother's day one year, and I have not been riding in over a year...you know being pregnant kinda puts a damper on stuff like that.  It looks like y'all had great fun and I love those cool shots you got.

very cool , we have atvs to , i have a blaster 200cc, my man has a can am 400cc and  we just got our son a btm 70cc.. we don't have many places to go..
is it legal to ride there?
here it's not unless you go to the atv park
we live near wisconsin its legal there you can ride from town to town on city roads n trails like old railroad trails its cool but a drive to get there
