Last night we all went out to our Christmas Eve service at church.  Our oldest son was one of the shepherds in it.  He did an excellent job (even when another shepherd tried to start and "staff fight").  As soon as they had done their little piece, my daughter decided to run for it.  She ran to the front of the church and up onto the stage giggling the whole way.  The pastor says that it's ok and to "let her go."  So, being obedient to my pastor, I squatted in the middle of the aisle waiting for my daughter to make a move for the keyboard or drums LOL.

She ran up behind the pastor, laid down and started rolling around on the stage.  She started calling me and daring me to make chase.  I stood up laughing my head off because I was so embarrassed and walked to the fron't of the church.  She sees me coming, laughs and literally jumps off the stage (it's a 2 step landing).  It's a good thing for me I'm not 8 months pregnant, or I would never have caught her.

She escaped a second time and ran for the stage, but I sent one of the youth group girls to chase her that time.  That time was in the middle of the bell choir (they were preschoolers, but they were cute too).

Have a very Merry Christmas!  I am sure I will.  It's off to a good start anyway.  The kids are still sleeping!  LOL.  God Bless!
