Happy New Year everyone. This will be a New Year I'm sure I won't soon forget.

I hadn't had a drink since 2006, so it had been over a year. Last night I had about a tablespoon or so of Champagne. Before whenever I used to drink my face would get red and blotchy for a little bit and then fade away. Well last night after my sip of champagne, I decided to head back to bed (Ricky woke me up a few minutes before midnight). My face started to burn and itch like crazy. So, I got up and went to the bathroom to check it out. My face was bright red and swollen. I had blotches all down my neck and behind my ears. I took two benedryll and went to bed. I kept having slight panic attacks that my throat was swelling shut. It wasn't. I just had to calm myself down. Ricky took care of Christian since I was knocked out from the medicine. I didn't get up until quarter til 10. I'm still tired. Oh well, I don't think I want to experience that again.

Anyway. It's getting close. Leaving. Ricky leaves for his deployment on the 10th I believe. My Dad flies down on the 16th and we're driving to Boston on the 17th, I think. I'll be spending a week alone w/ the littlest monster. This should be quite a challenge. Ricky helps me out a lot, it'll be hard being complelely on my own for a week. So just 9 days until Ricky leaves and 16 or so for us.
