We had a JOLLY good New Years! How was yours?

What did ya do for New Years?  We went to my Uncel's house, ate food, played games, and banged pots and pans out the back door at midnight.  :)  I played "Apples to Apples", "Balderdash", and "Think blot"!  I had SO MUCH fun!  Jazzy and Emma (Kristin's baby who's like 3 weeks younger than Jazzy) were SO cute together!  They both waddled around the house talking gibberish.  lol.  Angel and Malachi had a good time too.  My mom, my Aunt, Angel and Malachi all played "Memory" together.  Oooooo ooooo!  And also, my Mom made that yummy spinach-artichoke dip in a bread bowl!  I LOVE that stuff!  :)  Oh, lol, I almost forgot.  Dan fell asleep on the couch for new Years.  lol.  Just like last year, it's kinda becoming his own little tradition.

 Any whozeles.  How was yours?  What did ya do?  Did you have a jolly good time?

Jan. 1, 2008 at 4:21 PM sounds like you had a great time.  we hung out as a family, played games little ones and then watched the fireworks at midnight.  Low key but lots of fun.

Jan. 1, 2008 at 6:30 PM A cousin of ours just bought their first house, so they were having a house warming party that we went to.  It was the first time since kids that we stayed up and actually saw in the new year.  Then today we went to our friend's house and had lunch weith them and about 50 other couples.   Now we are at my parents waiting for dinner here!

Jan. 2, 2008 at 1:44 PM We had a fun New Year's. Went over My BIL house. He makes great food. We didn't play any games. That would have been more fun, but we did have a fire outside and sang and danced to my SIL CD collection. The kids wanted to roast marshmallows. Nick and his cousins played a board game he brought and guitar hero. Everyone made it to New Years. We slept over so no problems with other drivers and I didn't have to be a designated driver so we all had a little cheer too. LOL
