Persistence

Today I have told my older children (Reece 15, Nate 17) that they have lost their freedom for the next two weeks (school quarter ends).  They are to live and breath makeup homework.  They are suffering from lack of effort and will.  The work that is turned is is pretty good, but only 10% of it is turned in.  The school counselors have given up on my son's senior year.  I have already bought the announcements and cap and gown, but I believe he will not be getting any use of them this year.  This saddens me..

 

Lost but hopeful that it will turn around.
