My Baby's Room!

Well, I have felt terrible for the past month or so for not having done anything in the baby's room.  It was previously and still kind of is used for a guest/ computer room.  Last time my hubby was home I told him that  we really needed to start moving things out of there so when we got the things we needed we would at least have somewhere to put them.  Also, my babyshower is coming up and I want to be able to put everything in its place and rest for the rest of my pregnancy.  I hate being the one running around at the last minute doing something.  So, he moved one of the twin beds out of the room into storage and said we would move the rest when he got back next time.  Ok, that's not for another week.  Today, I got up and I got to looking at the room and decided it was time to move some things..my baby's room is going to be finished before he gets here if I have to do it all myself.  Well, I proceeded in moving things around and I called my mom and was like hey when you get off will you come help me move some things because I am really starting to get aggrevated with this whole thing.  So, when she got off she came over and helped..we got both chairs moved out of the room and they are waiting in my living room to be taken to storage this weeked and we took the other twin bed apart and she is going to take the matress to her house tomorrow and the rest is going in storage.  We put the crib up and washed all the bedding and put it on and it is so adorable!!  I have pics up!!  I am so excited to finally see "something" up in here that makes this room resemble a baby's room.  Now, we have to move the computer desk out and down to our "extra" room.  So, that will be done in the next couple of days or so...or I may wait till he gets back from work..it's only a week and I have managed to get enough done in here to satisfy me for right now.  We ordered the dresser and the changing table tonight as well.  We went yesterday to buy them but of the 4 stores we went to none of them carry white baby furniture..you have to order it from their online store..so we made a wasted trip..except for finding my bedding that I was totally excited about.  But, I have felt horrible about not having more done in here earlier...so now I am feeling better about the whole process.  Daddy doesn't know that we have done this much in here yet though... guess it'll be a good suprise to him when he gets home..less he's gotta do! *L*  So, Logan's room should be ready in the next 2 weeks..yay!!  Now, just waiting for him!!

Jan. 8, 2008 at 10:03 AM Congrats!!! That's awesome!!! I'm really excited to start working on ours as well, since it had become our "storage" room after we moved!! Thankfully I have a bit of time!!!
