Brianna's 5th Birthday!!!

January 3rd 2008!!!

I took Brianna to see the Little Mermaid on Broadway yesterday for her 5th Birthday.  She sat on the edge of her seat the entire show.  The costumes, singing and acting were amazing and I think I saw her get a tear in her eye when King Triton hugged Ariel before he sent her to Prince Eric. We waited outside the theatre to meet the cast and she took pictures with Ariel, Sebastion, King Trinton and Jetsom.  They signed her program and all wished her a happy birthday.

 We then went to dinner with Daddy at a restaurant call Ellen's Stardust Diner.  The entire staff sings show tunes, doo wop etc.  They dance around the diner all while serving you your food.  Well  we were sitting on the main level and after we finished eating dinner the ENTIRE cast (waiters & waitresses) all stood on the counter and sung Happy Birthday to Brianna.  Now I was crying!!!!

We then took her to see the Famous NY Christmas tree and went skating in Rockefeller Plaza.  Living here all my life I never saw NYC like this.... I actually felt like a tourist.

When we got home I helped Brianna get her PJ's on.  As I kissed her goodnight she hugged me and said "this was my best birthday ever mom....Thank you!!!"  OK here comes the tears again!!!

It great being a MOM!!!!!!! And I LOVE IT!!!!!!
