Today I have been doing my house work and decided to sit and watch some DIY in my bed room . My son is not one to play outside and I hate that but any who..... I heard a big crash in my living room and I went running oh no....my son had pulled our 52 ' flat screen on him....ERR he is ok . I asked how did it fall and he said mom I just do'nt know ...I was just sitting there, ok glad you are ok! well I still not understand why it just came crashing down so later I asked what really happened before I call your dad? he said he was climbing on it , he had gotten a wet rag and was trying to clean it .How can I be mad at him for clearing but I know we paid a lot of money for it and was his dads baby...err how will I tell is Dad? I know he should get in trouble for it but just how much? His dad will not look at it like me ( our son was only hurt a little and we didnt need to go to hospital ) he will be ready to yell and scream at him about it .I don't like to yell and cream ...err it doesnt help! oh my dear friends what am I going to do?

Okay, so here's what we do when something happens that we know Daddy is going to flip about. We call him and explain what happened and what disciplinary steps have already been taken. Then I ask him to vent to who ever he has to BEFORE he gets home. Most times by the time he gets home he has had some time to digest the whole issue and the reaction is greatly diminished. I certainly wouldn't wait for him to get home and be surprised by it. That usually goes bad for not just the child but for mom as well for not warning about it! Good luck! Glad to hear that you are raising a young man who will do housework - and voluntarily at that!! You may have a couple of mom's looking to arrange a match if you're not careful!!

you need to rename this witness protection program! My hubby would kill my kids, although the tv would probably do the job, it's a 62" mamoth!
