My daughter was married October 13th of this year...and it took me this long to work on her wedding pics (which by the way were soooooo very bad) !!! The photographer she had did a fantastic job on her engagement pics...but her wedding pics are another story. They were totally unprofessionally done...so many memories are missing like pics of the head table, individual pics of the groomsmen with the the groom, pics that were taken of friends and family at the receptions dinner were totally disappointing (everyone is looking around and she didnt bother to get them to look at the camera!) She came with only 1 camera (a professional photographer would have brought a backup camera) and she was having trouble with it all night (found out later she borrowed the camera because hers was being repaired!) so the Readers Digest version...it was a total nightmare when it came to the wedding photos...and as you all know...you cant do it over!!! (although in the spring the entire wedding party is going to meet in full wedding attire and re-take the wedding ceremony outdoor photos with a REAL Professional Photographer !!!)
My daughters wedding theme was *Breakfast At Tiffany's* with colors of turquoise and white (lots of crystal also) The ceremony was held at the Anderson Enrichment Center Gardens...the day was a little windy and cool...but all in all it was a beautiful sunny fall day!

The Wedding Reception was held @ the Dow Event Center for 250 guests.

Aside from the wedding photo disaster...the wedding was totally awesome, incredibly beautiful, a picture perfect day had any been taken properly, and last but not least...EVERYONE GOT ALONG GR8...even my family lol (which probably was due to the fact my youngest sister did not attend !!! The reception was also fantastic...the food was amazing delicious and served very quickly for so many people attending...the music was rockin...and it seemed like everyone had a wonderful time.
The Saginaw *Spirit* western division junior professional hockey team was playing in the Dow Event Center the same night...a favorite pastime of my daughter and her new husband. About half way through the reception...in comes 2 Saginaw *Spirits* mascots and the cheerleaders from the hockey game. They stayed and dance for a few songs...a little different touch to a wedding...but never the less was really kewl for most of the guests and wedding party.

Comments:
The person was a professional, licensed, insured photographer and charged $1000.00 just to take the photos...that is what makes this so tragic! We took the photos to 6 photography studios and they all said the exact same thing:
1) The photos looked like she shot them all on *auto focus* which isnt the way you take professional pictures (it doesnt pick up any detail). My daughter had a beautiful Vera Wang wedding gown and *auto focus* didnt pick up any of the incredible stitching and detail.
2) She didnt take any *basic wedding* photos like the wedding party head table, individual shots of the groomsmen with the groom, the greeting line after the wedding ceremony, or the food table which may sound petty but never the less pictures my daughter wanted and didnt get.
3) My son in laws father is deceased and his mother has been married twice since...instead of taking photos of her and her present husband she took pictures of her with her ex-husband...even after she wrote down *who was who* well before the wedding ceremony. I am also divorced from my daughters step-father...and she also took pictures of the two of us...which wasnt a big deal to me because I just went along with the flow...but it wasnt what my daughter had requested.
4) A professional photographer always brings along a second back-up camera just in case...she not only neglected to inform my daughter her only camera was being repaired...but she brought a borrowed camera and sat most of the reception working on it and changing batteries. She shot over 500 photos...and should not have had to change batteries more then once if at all..but had to do this several times.
I guess the point here being that the photos that were taken by family and guests turned out better then the professional photographers. The new photos will only be of the wedding party that were not taken on the wedding day. Its totally inpossible to *re-creat* the entire wedding and reception...so we worked on the few photos that we felt were *fair* and those are the ones I have posted. Most of the photos posted were taken by family and friends. I very much appreciate your comment and taking the time to check out my daughters wedding photos.
