CRAZINESS!!!

When I was leaving this morning, my son dropped his i-Pod shuffle in our driveway.  Dh and I looked and looked in the dark.  6:30 in the morning is pretty dark in NY.  I turned on my headlights.  We looked all over.  It was nowhere.  So, dh pulls his car out of the driveway and back in.  More light from his headlights.  Still nothing.  He leaves, and I start to leave.  I see a little shiny thing at the bottom of the driveway.  I stop, get out and see the shuffle.  DH ran it over when he pulled in to give us more light!  The car won!  No more shuffle.  I bought him an early birthday gift, an i-Pod nano. 

My mom is great!  She drives my kids to school.  Today, she gets them to school opens up the back to get their backpacks.  Closes the back and OH NO!!!! The doors locked, mysteriously, with the car running.  We don't know what happenned.  My kids went into the school and being very supportive of Grandma, tell everyone what happened while laughing!  The teacher on duty at the door, encouraged my mom to come in out of the cold.  The secretary helped my mom call my sister(thank God she was off today) becasue mom thought she didn't have her phone.  My mom didn't know Patty's cell phone number.  It was on record at the school.  Turns out my mom did have her cell phone.  Later, mom picked up the kids and the secretary asked if she had her keys.  LOL.

Okay now on to Dad.  Dad was driving to work when he saw something coming at him and heard a loud thump.  Nobody was on the road in either direction, just my dad with my bro following him.  Well that loud thump was a bunny hitting my dad's car.  When Dad got home today, my brother gets a stuffed rabbit and throws it at my dad.  Dad thought my son threw something at him.  So, we showed him that it was the stuffed rabbit.  My brother can be such a pain sometimes. 

This was a crazy day.  Wonder what tomorrow will bring between basketball, cheerleading and, oh my personal favorite, going to the airport to get my mil.  Just what I need a trip to Kennedy LATE at night!
