Big debate!!!!

Me and dh decided we were done having children.  And I was just wondering about getting my tubes tied or just doing birth control like the mirena or what!  But I want to be the one that gets fixed if we decide that is the best way because I have two girlfriends that had their dh get fixed and eventually get divorced and one of them has four children all in school and is now prego.  Because she forgot!  So what I guess I'm asking is what decision you made? and any regrets?  Because I think I might go and get fixed!

Jan. 5, 2008 at 4:15 PM I have a mirena.  It is wonderful.  You are infertile the moment it goes in.  And it made my "monthly" almost nothing every month.  And.......while last summer we were resigned to being "DONE....now we are thinking of another kid in a few years.  I hope it helps!  Cindy

I had my tubes tied during my 3rd Csection. Now they do it with a laparoscope. You only end up with 2, 1/4 inch scars.
