first ultrasound

So yesterday i went to the doctors for my first ultrasound with my fiance who was soo excited probally more excited then me. It's weird i feel sexy still and everything but not when my fiance touches my stomach. He's always rubbing my stomach and talkign to it and I know hes excited about it but it makes me feel ahh.. i dont want to say it it makes me feel fat. I know im going ot gain wait and eveything and im fine with that. When other people touch my stomach im fine i just feel like that when my fiance does it. lol but anyways we went in for the appt. and ended up being there for like 10 mins at tops. The girl who took the ultrasound took it and then rushed us out of the room to leave. Since its my first ultrasound i dont know how long it takes or if them rushing you otu is normal but i found it kind of rude. They didnt exam me or anything. They gave my fiance and I one picture or the ultrasound and then told us my due date is September 28th. Which i dont know what to believe because ive seen three different doctors and they all gave me different due dates. The other two doctors said i would be due early september and now the new doctor says im due in late september. This doctor im seeing now specializes in teen pregnancies and is suppose to be really good i talked to some peopl who have gone there and they all gave back positive info. But im not sure if this doctor is right for me. I want a doctor im going to feel comfortable with. lol

Mar. 2, 2007 at 2:03 PM  i felt that way when i had my gyno doing all my baby stuff...and i wanted a more personal relationship with my doc, i mean, someone i wouldnt feel weird saying anything too that was about baby stuff, or even sex and marrital situations with baby stuff you know? so i got a midwife, she was great. maybe you should talk to one and see what you think?

Mar. 2, 2007 at 2:04 PM OK, you have to stop the doc and let him/her know you have ?? and you want their attention.  Don't be shy!!  Another thing, take the first day of your last period minus 3 mths, and add 7 days. That should be your due date.  Always allow 2 wks give or take for an actual delivery, remember babies have their own mind and come when their ready. Last but not least, CONGRATS!!!!!!

Mar. 2, 2007 at 2:12 PM With my doctors office, it's completly different, While the ultrasound was quick (It dosnt take to long to get accurate pictures of the baby while its so tiny)) I always see my doctor right after my ultrasounds. And whenever I have a problem, a worry, I Goto the office, I dont even need apointments, they fit me in. So It's good to find a Gyno that understands your indevidual needs, Also. Having female gynos is a very good idea,  They understand the womans body a little more, and what you're going through. Never the less. I'm  having my second ultrasound in april. ^^ I'm excited to the max. Congradulations on the pregnancy, My due date is the 5th of september. I'm soooo Excited.

Thats kind of eery that she rushed you out of there. So you should be around a month pregnant maybe a little over a month?I wonder why they gave you an ultrasound so soon. Maybe ask the doctor about that and let him know that the women was rude and gave you no other info but wanted you to leave in a hurry. Hope you get better luck next time with someone different
