update on jimmy's surgery

first off i want to say thank you to everyone who had jimmy in their thoughts yesterday. it means alot to us. yesterday was a crazy day. his surgery in the morning went fine. he had a little trouble breathing but they kept him on oxygen and he got better by the afternoon. then yesterday evening we had a set back. the nurse and i were changing his diaper and his g-tube feel out. well the surgeon on call couldn't get it back into the stomach so they had to rush him back into surgery again last nite about 8. they gave him a different g-tube. hopefully this one will stay in better. then it was a long nite of recovery and his stats dropping due to the morphine he's getting for pain. i'm praying that was our only bump in the road. i took leon up to the hospital this morning and now i'm gonna go and get some rest just in case i have to go back up there.

Jan. 10, 2008 at 7:23 PM my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember when my 15 year old son got his g-tube when he was 2. It was a hard transition but well worth it in the long run. Keep in touch
