I've spent enough time reviewing CafeMom, to learn what the average mind-set is of many Moms who I KNOW are NOT reading this message. Why? Because they are so wrapped-up in themselves, they don't care what sort of videos their children are seeing.

Maybe they just don't realize the "hot" kid's videos that are promoted heavily on TV programs their kids are watching on a daily basis, are filled with multiple acts of violence, including fights resulting in death! Yes, I said DEATH.

These highly advertised videos are considered "popular" on video sales listings, because being "popular" means more parents are buying these items, with no regard as to how violent videos can affect their kid's minds, ages five to twelve, all the way into their teen years, and more.

So what's up with all these parents purchasing violent videos for their kids? Are they uncaring, or just uninformed?

All I know for certain, is after many years of paying attention to the GLUT of violence offered on children's videos, my husband and I have taken the time to give children, ages two through 8 years, a fun and wholesome video, containing 16 stories kids love. Even kids are responding, via their parents, who are thanking us for our focus on family values and safety issues their children are talking about, because they hit close to home.

So for fun, laughter and entertainment kids will want to see, hear and read, again and again, take a few minutes to see for yourself by downloading a story you believe your child or children will love. When you see their reaction, you'll find even more stories or rhymes they will adore.

Hi Donna

I actually agree with you. My children are not allowed to watch a lot of TV and few videos. I know I can't stop all violence surrounding them in this day and age but I can limit the amount they are exposed to on TV. I think sometimes my friends think I am too strict but death and dying are somber topics and not something that I feel my kids should be exposed to as casual or laughable.
