ok, so i doubt anyone is intrested but I shall write it all out anyway. Last year I started on cafe moms and at that point i was trying to work on a failing marriage and raise my 4 wonderful children. In august of 06 I moved out but was still fence sitting on the really leaving him process. After a horendous fight and him freeking out i called it quits for real in May of 07. I had a close friend of 3 years living with me and helping with bills etc. we got closer and started to date in july of 07. We are still together and I am very happy with him. I count my blessings that such a great guy cares for me and was willing to give a single, divorce' of 4 kids a shot. Not only that but I find it funny I never noticed him as a romantic interest before. He is only 20,lol.. which i know is young but he has lived quite a full life in that time so i don't base my affections on age (i'm almost 30) anyway, there's my update. I still work as a security guard and aside from wishing I had more hours I'm ok with that job for now. my goal now is to get my party planning business up and running and do something that I truly enjoy

Jan. 15, 2008 at 11:26 AM My hubby did the same thing, except for three kids.  He was my best friend for such a long time and we lived in the same complex, but not the same apartment when I was a single mom to three little boys.  Over time, we just kept growing closer and eventually dated, then got married.  A few months after we got married, I got pregnant (planned) with my fourth son.  I thank God for my husband all the time and I am so very thankful for him.  :)  Men who take on a lot of children that aren't biologically their own are the true definition of "men" in my eyes.  :)
