IT’S OVER!!! At last the farce we call Christmas is over and we can once again concentrate on the everyday problems that bombard us. We can once again take the time to ask important questions like : “Where did that roll come from?” “Didn’t these pants fit last week?” “What orifice will I pull money from this week?” “Do I know you?” “Haven’t I already answered your question?” “Have you always been that stupid?” “How many calories are there in a pound of chocolate?” “Are you talking to me???? I said are you talking to me!” “Does this outfit make me look fat?” “Do I seem moody to you?” “If you were a tree what tree would you be?” And my all time favorite (In my life anyway may not apply to yours) “Did I have these kids???? If not why are they here?” Now that I can spend some quality time with my thoughts (in between the raising of three grandkids , see the last question) I know that I will come to some point of enlightenment where the world will make sense to me. We are all on a journey to answer the questions that plague us, some may turn inward to ask only of themselves while others may ask questions of the world in general and their participation in that sphere. And there are many (90% of which live in Oklahoma) that just wander around aimlessly asking questions of no direction, these are yum yums that are put here to make the rest of us know as “thinkers” to loose our quest for the answers we thirst for. We have to stop constantly and re-direct these lost souls to prevent them from loosing touch with reality. These yum yums have been know to hurt themselves unintentionally by placing their fingers in fire and saying “purty”, walking into traffic just to pick up their supper, wear white shoes all year round (ugh), marry their cousins, play operation at home on their dinning room table with real knives and their cousin Hank, and the list goes on and on. This is the existence for us “thinkers” in the Okie environment, and although some Okies become “thinkers” with constant study, I have found that it is easier for a “thinker” to become a yum yum. So we must protect our population and only breed with other “thinkers” thus to maintain the gene pool and keep our society alive.
