I'm only sorry for the fact I know many others will have more grace and compassion for this Mom than I do. People who kill children,People who kill their OWN children I feel should suffer the same cruel,disgusting torture (yes,with the summary of death).There's NO excuse in my opinion (Granted...If in a case where true Post Partum Depression is PROVEN by Dr's and Psychologists I will make an exception IN MY OPINION and lay off death as punishment) But children are gifts,precious gifts. As a mother of a child with Autism this angers me even more.

Jan. 14, 2008 at 1:50 PM This just makes me sick it's all about her when you read this article,she wanted autism out of her life this poor child.The good book says to forgive but how can you my children are the most precious thing in my life,They are my blessing even though my autistic son Noah drives me crazy somedays,he is still the light of my life,and I love that he was given to me.I hope she will see that little girls face in that plastic bag for the rest of her life.

Jan. 14, 2008 at 2:18 PM I don't know if I'm mad but I know I'm sick.  I don't think what she did was right at all but I also don't think that she's got all her marbles there either.  All I can say is no matter what she's going to live with this the rest of here life and then she's going to wonder what kind of life she could have had whether he dd was autistic or not.  But then again, I don't know because she said she'll felt that the autism was her fault and then goes on to say that she wanted it out of her life.  She could have given the child up for adoption.  She's just not right.

I fully agree-I think that part of the article sickened me the most. And the fact her daughter tried to bite her way through the bag to save herself. May this woman see that image EVERY time she closes her eyes.

It's just unbelievable that a person could do that to anyone, let alone their child. How sick.

 Before anyone has kids they should have to take a psychoological test. You don't pass, you don't get to have children, period. Extreme-Yes,indeed it is. But think of the children that are killed everyday, where the HELL is the justice for them?

No excuses- not one more child!!!!

I am so disgusted and upset!  I don't understand how those thoughts can enter someone's mind.  I'm sure the husband knew how she really felt.  He probably could of taken their daughter to a relative to keep her safe.
