It isn't a "bad" haircut, (although her bangs are too short so they are swept under the hair to the left)  I'm still very sad that the curl is gone....

I was more curly than this yesterday... but she had slept on it all night...

You guys tell me I'm not a bad mom for cutting her curls off... I'm still very very sad...

Exactly... she's on two but her hair was such a tangled mess and she screams bloody murder if we comb it or wash it...

I still want those curls back...

Jan. 15, 2008 at 8:05 AM It is still cute hair.  Maybe as she gets older she be able to help to take care of it so it won't hurt.  That is the way my sister had to do with her little girl.  The girl would scream if she even saw you touch a hairbrush.  Now she'll brush her own and she's only 4.

Jan. 15, 2008 at 8:49 AM it'll grow back! That's the beauty of hair! She still looks cute though. I had a tough time with my 2yo not letting me brush it I went and chopped most of it off. We dont' have curls but stick straight hair but geeze if it isn't beautiful, shiny and highlighted all on it's own! I hated cutting it off (besides she looked SOOO cute with pig tails when she let me do them) She's still fighting me but knows the consequences now...

Jan. 15, 2008 at 10:42 AM Detangling spray is our best friend, Em is able to keep her hair long.  I have only had her hair cut once and I took her to the salon because if she screams when I just have a comb I am afraid to imagine what would have happened if I tried to cut it myself.  Her hair is cute really!
