I want to curl up and die and die and die

Tried as I might to avoid catching mom's flu, I was a complete nimrod and wiped my nose after touching her doorknob (wow, if that doesn't look like some strange euphamism in review). D'oh! Now, I don't mind getting a common cold because it's good for my immune system. It's good for the baby's too, but MAN! Even being sick while I was pregnant this time of year wasn't this hard. It sucks being sick. It sucks even more being sick while watching after a very mobile 9 month old. It is plainly cruel and unusual being sick, chasing down a turbo-crawler, and breast-feeding. I have nasal drip, tender breasts, dry mouth, and vertigo from bending down to re-direct the baby all the time XD

This is unprecendented levels of suck and I don't know if it will ever improve down the line. I'm trying to keep a sense of humor about all of this. I'm really doing my damnedest to stay strong through the day while all the grandma's and daddy is busy at work. I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I wanted to curl up and die several times today.

Even though the baby still wakes up at night for a bit of booby and cuddling, now is my time alone and on the couch. I plan on getting as much quality shut-eye as possible and I have a date with my hot pillow. Wish me luck. I'm going to do my best to ride this out with a minimum of medication.

Haha, did I mention the baby was teething too? Ah, joy.

Wish there was something I could do or say to make it all better baby-girl.  If we only lived closer……!     Put him in restraints, turn on the TV to Noggin and Get Some Rest!
