grand dad send s toy

i have not seen my dad for a long time will i was 5 years old and now i am 27 years old well for christmas i bought my 3 year old a doll and sent it to her. the thing is he never pay sourport for me growing up and did not even send  a brithady card bought out ofthe blue he bhy a doll for my kid. i love him and hope some day we can see each ther again but i thick maybe he going at it the wroung way.

Men are emotionally challenged.  He is probably going about things in the only way he can figure out to.  I think you are right to question his motives, but it might be time to let your guard down just alittle and see what he could be capable of now that he is older.  He might need some words of encouragement from you.  Just encouraging words toward him doesn't mean that you have to believe him, or trust him, or even want to let him in.
