How the Heck am I still Alive!!!??

Ok, sorry but i just have to speak my mind here.  I took cold medicine when I was little, I slept with a pillow and on my stomach.  My mom didn't breastfeed, I grew up with pitbulls.  My dad had guns always laying out, my mom smoked.  I slept in my own room, my parents both worked.  I didn't ride in a carseat when I was in school.  My parents did all of these "horrible" things to me, yet (here's the shocker) I'm still alive!!!  I still love my parents, that's right I do not hate them!  Lol, people lighten up in here!  You don't have to be perfect, you can still be a good parent!  Yeah today we have more research that tells us everything on this planet will kill us, but that doesn't mean we have to live everyday on freakin egg shells.  I dunno, I guess all non-perfect parents who still love their kids with all they have should just be shot.  Would that make all the perfect mommas in here happy?  Nah probably not.  Oh, well...

only if they got to do the shooting!  LMFAO!!!!!!  seriously, I was born in the 70's and wow all that stuff you said...TRUE!  My mom used to smoke in the car with the windows rolled up AND we did not wear seatbelts!!!!  OMG, that must be why i am not perfect!  she damaged me!!!!!!!  I am just kidding of course.  I am perfect

Lol CPS was out looking for the child beaters and molesters, now they're too busy looking for parents who smoke or feed formula. 

Oh and I was spanked too!  Gasps the horrors!

LoL, imagine what our kids are going to say about us in THIER blogs...

My mom didn't breast feed me, fed me non-organic food, only bought the $100 carseat instead of the $600!!  She didn't wash her hands after smoking!!!  Or change her clothes!!  OH AND SHE USED BLEACH!  

Ha.  If my kid says that.... well in case cps is reading this I'll... laugh?

  Nobody is perfect-we all try to do the best we can.  And we  all make mistakes.  Everybody does what they can and think is best.  

Oh about vaccinating-well I know someone who was a healthy boy and became  autistic after getting some shots.-so i choose to wait with the shots for my son till he gets older and his little body can take all of that chemicals.  Am I doing the right things-I hope so. 

Car seat?  well, I got rear ended once-I just have to say Thank God my son was in a car seat. 

It's better to be safe then sorry.  But I don't think their is such a thing as perfect moms.   We all try to do the best we can.
