sooo im getting a new puppy for my husbands birthday and mine cause we're only a few days apart hes april 27th and im may 5th were getting a boy boxer and we're going to name him Hogan  im soo excited i cant hardly wait i want him now but i have to get Zoie my pittull fixed first and we have to get to our new pcs and hopefully we will be good to go after that. it says we can only have 2 pets on base so maybe we will be looking for off base houseing since we have a bird as well and they count that as another pet. anyways im super excited for the new puppy to come.

Good luck with Hogan!  My dd wants to name our next boy Hoover!  Her current boy is Jovilea's Sweet Ride aka Bentley.

Feb. 5, 2008 at 5:41 PM We just got a boy boxer puppy too and named him Lincoln.  He is really good with our girls, doesnt bite them, just barks and chases my 2 year old around and licks the feet of my 4 month old.  So far a great dog, we heard that boxers are one of the best dogs if you have kids.

Feb. 15, 2008 at 10:50 AM We have the boxer/Rhodesian mix and he is wonderful with the baby. Jr. climbs in his crate with him like yours does and shuts the door and they can play in there for an hour before Jr. boots the dog out of his crate. lol  Jr. will even fall asleep on Dino's pillow that is in there and Dino will go in front of the crate to guard him. Its so cute. If my dad comes over and goes to the crate Dino's ears will go up and his head, until I say its fine, then he lays back down again. However, if I didn't say it was fine and someone went to go to pick up Jr and I didn't say it was okay he would nip them to let them know not to mess with him.
