Well, I guess I should say gals, but you know what I mean!

I feel like I've been gone forever, and I haven't had a chance to get caught up on y'all's journals and pictures, but I wanted to get back on here.  We had a lovely vacation.  We left on Monday, drove all day (the girls did magnificently), got a hotel room, then got to my parent's house the next afternoon.  The girls loved it (plus they got gifts), and we left the next afternoon.  That night we got to Jon's dad's house, and we all opened stockings.  The next morning, we opened gifts after breakfast (did anyone get their kids Moon Sand--definitely an outside toy!).  Tina's son, d-i-l, and their son came and we had fun with them.  The girls rode horses in the afternoon.  Jill liked it, but Beth loved it!  

The next day, Friday, we went to the coolest petting zoo ever.  We got to pet deer!  There were other animals (some un-pettable, like mountain lions and bobcats and raccoons and such) to pet, but the deer were the best part.  I'll never forget how they felt or how timid some of them were. 

Saturday we bummed around, the girls rode the horses again, and were basically lazy all day.  We left the next morning, and got back here  Monday night.  It was a great vacation, and the girls did really well for being in the car all day a few times.  The vacation was also good for me and Jon as it reignited our passion for each other.

Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well, and I promise I'll catch up on all of your lives in the next day or so!

Jan. 20, 2008 at 1:15 AM Don't feel bad about missing on post. in the past four weeks I have been on 3 to 4 time at most. Half of that was to write a post and get off, or just log in and get off. I'm hoping when the weather warms up to get back on here and talk to you again and everyone else also. But with it being cold in the family room Its hard. I'm so happy that you had a great Vacation. BTW my kids didn't get the moon sand. But My sister's two year did. and she was complaining it was everywhere. I thought it was a good gift if you wanted to annoy the parents with it. LOL
