Just wondering if anybody elses children has tubes in there ears. We are taking emily to meet with the ENT tomorrow and I don't really know what to expect. My family doctor said that they will clean out the wax then if there is fluid they will suction that out to. I'm thinking this is not going to be a very fun appointment! He ears have been infected off and on since September and we can not get them cleared up. We are only guessing that they will reccomend tubes. I am not sure what to excpect out of tomorrow's appointment at all!

Mar. 5, 2007 at 2:53 PM my daughter went through a month with having constant drainage in her ears from ear infections...the infections didn't seem to bother her but the infection wouldn't go away even with antibiotics...they finally ended up putting tubes in her ears and taking her adnoids out...she is doing great now with them...we haven't had any more infections or anything....

Mar. 5, 2007 at 2:54 PM The tubes did help my son with his ear infections. He went 10 years before he got another ear infection. Every child differs but my son was back to his normal self the next day, so I consider it a minor procedure. cranky & drowsy maybe the first day, but it wasnt bad & they did help.
